Sunlight streams in through two-story windows, reflecting off the colorful mosaic ceiling that depicts an Art Deco scene in the style of the famous period artist, Tamara de Lempicka. Outside the windows, the infinity pool and the al-fresco dining patio add a special ambience to the gourmet, Mediterranean-influenced menu.

Led by executive chef, Matthew McDonald, The Restaurant at National Hotel explores the new interpretations of classic European and Caribbean cuisine. Chef Matthew's career includes tenure at several Mobile Four Star and AAA Four Diamond award-winning restaurants in such notable cities as Seattle, Detroit, Key West and Boca Raton.
